As a UK and New York qualified lawyer, Alexandra has extensive UK, US and international experience of the media and entertainment industry, advising clients on intellectual property, M&A/corporate and commercial issues across a wide range of sectors (including film, television, theatre, music, tech, finance, marketing/advertising and retail).

Alexandra joined Clintons in May 2024, having worked in both private practice and industry in a variety of roles including Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Head of Business and Legal Affairs, as well as having been a C-Suite and Board business partner, member of operational Board and key member of senior management team.

Alexandra has a wealth of experience working with business start-ups, established UK and international brand names as well as privately held and publicly traded companies including Unilever, Fred Perry, Brainlabs, ITV, Fremantle, Lionsgate, NBC Universal, Entertainment One, Momentum Pictures, Netflix, Amazon and Sky. She holds a successful track record in supporting the growth and development of businesses whilst finding practical solutions to problems and mitigating risk.

Alexandra’s particular expertise includes the development, production, acquisition, financing and exploitation of films and television shows across a wide range of platforms and media worldwide, including “The Hunger Games (Film Series)”, “La La Land”, “Pitch Perfect”, “Ex Machina”, “Brooklyn”, “The Kings Speech”, “Motherland”, “Young Sherlock”, “Queenie” and “Love Island”.  

In addition, Alexandra has considerable experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as the integration and restructuring of multi-national groups of companies across the world. Most recently, she led, advised, negotiated and concluded the successful acquisition and subsequent integration of ten UK and international group of companies during an 18-month period, with a combined acquisition price of more than £750 million.

Alexandra read Law with French and Spanish at Birmingham University.

She qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2011.

Alexandra was invited to join BAFTA as a voting member for both Film and Television in 2020.
