Simon Meadon is an experienced entertainment lawyer specialising in theatre matters. He is unique amongst entertainment lawyers in that he is also a seasoned theatre producer and his practical experience in this field is invaluable to his clients. In addition he is a Board Director of both The Donmar Warehouse and previously served on the Board of The Bush Theatre. He qualified as a solicitor in 1983 and gained experience in music, film production and theatre matters while working both in private practice with leading law firms (where his clients included Cameron Mackintosh Ltd) and in-house at Virgin Vision, Film Trustees and the T.V. talent and sports management organisation James Grant Media Group. He has also produced over 50 shows in the West End and on Broadway for the UK's most prolific impresario, Bill Kenwright. Since 2005 Simon has acted as both commercial and business affairs adviser to a wide range of organisations including Amnesty International (where he was instrumental in resurrecting The Secret Policeman's Ball), Bollywood.TV, Digital Theatre and the producers of numerous West End plays and musicals.
